AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): Tripura BJP has been suffering from leadership crisis since the election result was declared and the govt had assumed charge. Recently nationally it was reported about the power-tassel among Sunil Deodhar and Biplab Deb following various controversial statements delivered by Chief Minister Biplab Deb and his continuation of such illogical claims added by his firmness with those claims. Resentments had gripped most of the BJP activists especially the youths, after the paan-shop controversy and some decisions like appointing teachers without B.Ed qualification. On that time, Sunil Deodhar who has been Tripura BJP’s life-giver was totally silent about Tripura issues.

But after today’s speech at Agartala, which was indeed the first speech after the election, the Yuva Morcha once again were motivated in the true sense, report says.

This how a leader should speak and Biplab Deb like leader, who is totally responsible for BJP’s nationally image down ahead of Karnataka election, should take minimum lesson on ‘how to speak’.

Before the election, Deodhar was guiding Biplab Deb and in a Yuva Morcha programme, Biplab Deb once shed even tears calling Deodhar as his 'Chanakya', but after the election and Deodhar's departure Yuva Morcha led movement was poured with water with the Chief Minister gaffes including hitting 1997 Miss World, India's pride Diana Hayden.

With the return of Sunil Deodhar, a new energy was observed once again among the BJP Yuva Morcha youths.

Delivering the speech, Deodhar made it very clear that after a party is in power, actual works begin as this is the time considered for ‘no more speeches’ but for ‘fulfilling the dreams’.

The BJP Observer in the Yuva Morcha gathering made his stand clear what a party and the govt should do after it’s in power. Addressing the gathering at Netaji Indoor Stadium Sunil Deodhar said, “Once a part is in power, the actual work begins. After a govt takes charge speeches can’t work anymore, rather work speaks more than words”. “Before the Election, our works remain only to deliver speeches at any corner of a road and to condemn the ruling govt, even though the previous CPI-M govt deserved condemnation. But now, our work is to fulfill people's dreams”.

Indeed Biplab Deb’s unscientific remarks didn’t get any support from any Northeast BJP leader even led mass embarrassment among Biplab Deb.

Among the 6 hit controversies erupted by Tripura Chief Minister the latest was the 'paan shop' controversy now with the bottle guard story.

The first controversy which nationally made the Chief Minister popular had sparked, when he said, “Internet and satellites existed in Mahabharata-Era and via Internet Sanjay was giving live updates of Kurukshetra war to the blind king Dritarashtra”.

The second blow was CM’s claim about, Diana Hayden didn’t deserve the Miss-World award as she doesn’t look like an Indian woman and her style is unworthy to represent India. Indian women should be like Goddess Laxmi, Saraswati and Aishwarya Rai is still fine to title as Miss World. Not only this, CM also claimed there was no credit any Indian woman to get the Miss World or Miss Universe awards at all as such beauty-contests are fake and ramp walks are just for “shows”. The awardees names are selected before the competition.

Then he said in Civil Service day, Mechanical engineers should not go for Civil Service but Civil Engineers should go.

Finally, the 4th lead was when he asked state’s 8 lakhs youths to open paan-shop or breed cows for livelihood instead of running after politicians for jobs.

At the latest there was another controversy with his speech of Buddha Purnima, whereas today he is again in National media after he said, “My Govt is not a bottle gourd. I’ll chop off nail if interfere in my govt”.

Now, with the ‘come-back’ of Deodhar it’s clear that Tripura BJP needs him for a long time. Without Deodhar’s direct control over state BJP, the party will be facing existential crisis especially when youths to pristha-pramukhs all are very much angry with Biplab Deb led damages in last 20 days which will take a long time and more hardworks to regain the party-image.
