No Action against BJP Unmasked Activists | AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): Although in political rallies, especially BJP’s programmes no one wears any mask, the District Administration in West was seen imposing Rs. 200 fines on the common men which erupted. An auto driver who was imposed with Rs. 200 fines said, “When we do not have incomes, the Govt is too rude and forcing us to pay fines. Why can’t the Govt donate some masks to us ?” A woman slammed the officials’ role as she was forced to pay fines for giving a ride to a man who was not wearing a mask. She asked, why would she pay a fine when she was wearing a mask? All these created chaos, verbal arguments between the people and the common men. After ambulance 102 services were stopped in Tripura, now the BJP led State Govt has stopped Gas Supplies in various CNG stations, which has put many drivers in the tension of livelihood crisis. Reportedly, in the state’s various parts, the gas supplies have been halted. The vehicle drivers are in fear of losing income. Talking to the media, one of the drivers said, “We have no idea why the services have been stopped. We are ready to provide services to the people but the Govt is tying our hands”. “We request the Chief Minister not to stop us from doing our jobs. We also request the same from the TNGCL. This is our only means of survival and for years we are dependent on this profession only but suddenly we have no idea why we are not allowed to work................We are willing to provide service to the people always and that's our work only. No Solution of 10323 Teachers’ Issue, | AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): Terminated 10323 teachers have announced to go in massive protest with a larger form of movement after January 15. Joint Movement Committee of the 10323 teachers member Dipankar Debbarma has told the media while addressing Khowai during the District level convention of the organization on January 5. The 10323 teachers who were terminated due to legal complications have not received any alternative job as the BJP led State Govt could not prove commitment to the terminated teachers. BJP before the 2018 Election promised 10323 teachers to solve their problems with a humanitarian angle and guaranteed to make a permanent solution to the teachers’ problems.
