AGARTALA, Jan 7 (TIWN): Patients will not get 102 Ambulance services from today till further notice. Such report given by 102 Ambulance vehicle drivers and Ambulance medical staff. Total 50 Ambulance services in 8 districts stopped suddenly without prior notice from the concerned Health Department, but the Ambulance Medical staff including call centre staff is uninformed why the services remain closed. Reportedly, the Ambulance services will remain closed till further notice given by the Higher authority of Health Department.
Serious patient parties from subdivisions are facing harassment due to sudden closure of Ambulance. However, many patients are bringing to TMC and GB hospital by booking private cars. But many patient parties are unable to bring serious patients to Tripura’s biggest referral hospital, GB, as bringing serious patients to GB hospital by arranging private cars would be life risk without oxygen.
Question is if any patient would die while bringing in Private cars without oxygen then who would be responsible? Terrible Health Department by closing Ambulance services terrified the patient party.
