Termination of Tripura's 10323 teachers | AGARTALA, Dec 30 (TIWN): With another major jolt for CPI-M, Tripura's 10323 terminated teachers will go to New Delhi and meet the MHRD Minister Prakash Yavedkar in demand of their jobs back led by State BJP President Biplab Deb, MLA Sudip Barman, Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, National General Secretary Ram Madhav. In a meeting at Hindi Higher Secondary School, the terminated teachers have decided this and hence announced before media. The terminated 10323 teachers said that if possible they will meet the President of India. On Dec 27, 8662 teachers among the 10323 teaches have received termination letters along with 6 months of ad hoc basis temporary job offers. Other teachers have already gotten jobs through TET Examination and thus remaining 4150 teachers have been terminated under primary basis, GT 3740, PGT 772. Following the incident, BJP youths have come in massive protest at there, seeking reasons behind such incidents from the Principal.
