"The Communists led by CPM have labelled industrialists as exploiters. Instead of looking at industrialists as one creating jobs for thousands, the Communists have labelled them as exploiters. In fact, this has been etched into the psyche of West Bengal, Tripura and Kerala," Ravi Shankar said at an event organised by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Sunday. He blamed the Communists for driving away industrialists and causing strikes."A businessman takes crores of rupees as loans to sustain an industry and creates jobs. Instead of looking at that, they (Communists) make him feel ashamed and embarrassed to the extent that he has to run away."Not only that, every now and then there is strike. Why? Because the guy is an industrialist, hence an exploiter," he said.Asserting that the psyche against industrialists was far from the truth, the spiritual leader called upon the industry and the government to work together for the development of the society. It is apparent that Tripura to be the best destination for him where he has earned a lot and allowed the dishonest blocks to eat public fund at the behest of ruling CPI-M and Chief Minister Manik Sarkar. Unfortunately, there is no berth vacant for Panda to get in Tripura. He lost the chance when State Human Rights Commission was constituted in October this year. Panda was approached for the post of member, as Chief Minister Sarkar prefers Panda like spineless and reptile creature who always work for personal gratification and satisfaction to the party in power. He was almost sure that Sarkar will be waiting for his retirement before constituting right body but situation had compelled Sarkar to exclude him. All other opportunities like state information commission, sale tax tribunal, police accountability commission, ombudsmen of MGNREGA and state election commission were sealed for him by the time.According to sources, Panda’s mischief and misdeed have put the left front government in trouble. To show his allegiance to the left front and Chief Minister during his tenure as Chief Secretary, he institutionalized corruption in the state. Irony of ‘National Awards’ | AGARTALA, Dec 20 (TIWN): Poor people’s Left Front Govt led by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has once again successfully made this state AWARD ready to achieve National award for ‘wise-distribution’ of MGNREGA mandays. According to the central govt. website’s records the state Tripura has shown with atleast 67 mandays of work on average. Also in this regard Tripura govt. has already criticized the West Bengal govt.for achieving only 28 mandays. Mamata Banerjee Govt started a food security scheme to provide over three crore beneficiaries foodgrains at Rs.2 per kg, taking to seven crore the number of people getting subsidised food which Manik Sarkar Govt scared to discuss as Tripura Govt is incapable to extend any real help to poor people except CPM cadres. But in comparison with West Bengal (in case of development), where is Tripura actually standing? By using so much mandays where is development? And why so much hundreds of crores MGNREGA corruption inside RD Dept.? Answer is Tripura Govt. whose vote bank’s main source is more the poor people, so CPM has gifted manday money to that section of people to inflate figures in govt records but the fact is “No-Work†actually been done. Most of the cases in village levels, its rampant corruptions and no MGNREGA work was done but in Govt records, work was done and amounts paid out to CPM supporters to keep rural vote bank intact. The first ever 2-lane flyover in the capital city will lower the traffic jam by at least 40% to 45% and it will make a smooth fast track movement of the vehicles but the period of the construction is creating havoc. The main motive of creating the Fly-Over Bridge is to seek solution to hectic traffic jam at Battala.
