UDAIPUR, Feb 8 (TIWN): The Ld. Addl. Session Judge, Udaipur Gomati, Tripura, has convicted 01 (One) accused person namely Jogendra Chakma at Jogen S/O Lt. Mergharam Chakma of Khalai South Maharani PS RKP, under Gomati District.

On 31-07-2012, RKP PS Case No. 2012RKP298 U/S- 302/201 IPC, was registered on the basis of written complaint of one Sri Baren Chakma S/O Lt. Changri Chakma of Khalai South Maharani PS RKP against the accused person namely Jogendra Chakma @ Jogen S/O Lt. Mergharam Chakma of Khalai South Maharani PS RKP, under Gomati District; The A/P killed by uncle of complinant by previous enmity On 31-07-2012 at about 1300 hrs. at Tuiharchang South Maharani, under R.K.Pur PS.       

 After investigation, charge sheet was filed by SI Ramendra Debbarma, I.O of the case on 31-08-2013, against the accused person namely Jogendra Chakma @ Jogen S/O Lt. Mergharam Chakma of Khalai South Maharani PS RKP, under Gomati District; vide R.K.Pur  PS C/S No. 267/2013 U/S- 302/201 IPC.

The trial Court on appreciation of evidence found the accused person namely Jogendra Chakma @ Jogen is guilty U/S 302/201 IPC and sentenced him to suffer RI for life & to pay a fine of Rs- 10,000 i.d to suffer S.I for 01(One) year for the offence punishable U/S 302 IPC  & further sentence to suffer RI for 03 (Three) Years and to pay a fine of Rs- 2000/- i.d to payment S.I for 03(Three) months for the punishable U/S 201 IPC. Both the sentenced shall run concurrently.
