KAMALPUR, Nov 14, (TIWN): As per pre-announced schedule, the CPI-M candidates contesting in Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat filed their nomination with the Returning Officer Subhasis Das here on Saturday. In this occasion a mammoth rally was organized in which all the 11 candidates took part.

The rally decorated with musical instruments and party flags roamed different parts of the Nagar Panchayat area and got assembled in front of the SDM office. There 11 candidates along with party leadership filed their nomination. The contesting candidates who filed nomination today from CPIM were Padmabati Sinha, Dipti Barman, Subrata Bhattacharjee, Rikta Pal, Raja Majumder, Jharna Debnath, Samiran Deb, Jharna Deb, Rajib Das, Khana Das & Sunil Sukladas respectively contesting from ward no. 1 to 11.

However as the Congress yet not declared their party candidature so the election environment not yet geared up  completely.
