AGARTALA, Jan 16 (TIWN): Following the Thana-Gharao movement by Congress MLA Gopal Roy told TIWN if next 48 hours Congress will go in massive protest as the murder was a plan of CPI-M.

"Today is day 6 that police hardly have arrested one person, whereas there must had many persons involved in this murder. We believe that CPI-M is involved in the murder and Police are directly helping the criminals to survive", said Roy on yesterday evening. 

"This is totally an intrigue of CPI-M and the ruling CPI-M is responsible for the murder", added Roy.

State Congress activists led by MLA Gopal Roy have gheraoed East PS demanding proper investigation in Gautam Sarkar murder case.

After 4 days of the murder one Sibu Das was arrested by West Police in Gautam Sarkar murder case, who was brutally killed on January 11 night in Talibani model.

The accused has been produced before the court today.

Congress has demanded proper investigation and arrests of all culprits.

Gautam Sarkar was killed brutally at Moror Stand area lined Chittaranjan club zone, which is just on the heart of Capital City Agartala.

BJP State President Biplab Deb alleged that after cutting nerves, the mafias dropped hot-boiled plastic over the injury.

Severe injuries were found on the dead body, whereas his head was smashed with bricks.

Gopal Roy further added, "One person was brutally killed and with bricks his face was damaged, it can't be single person's work".

Congress have also claimed that Gopal Sarkar was a congress activist.
