AGARTALA, Dec 24 (TIWN): Ahead of Assembly Election, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar finally was seen today at Astabol Stadium's Hindu gathering of Anukul Thakur disciples led programme and exhibition. Chief Minister's crawling towards Hinduism, was however in balance as he didn't share the dais with them and called Babai Thakur on the field to talk with him. CM observed the whole exhibition and talked to the followers of Anukul Thakur at there. Manik Sarkar has also advised Babai thakur to take care of his health. The sudden concern of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar for Hindu sentiments have triggered controversy, laughter. After the anti-Hindu propagating finally Sarkar felt the importance of majority's vote banks after ruling state for 25 years without any such effort.

No doubt, the dose of RSS Chief Mohan Bhawat's visit in Tripura from December 15 and saffron's mass gathering at the same field of Astabol on December 17, addressed by the RSS Chief, worked like a major threat among the Communist politicians and finally Chief Minister Manik Sarkar bend before Hinduism.

However, the secularism of Communists have been strange since the beginning. CM Manik Sarkar never had made any visit to Tripura Sundari temple for puja, neither any CPI-M Minister was seen to offer prayers to Devi Tripura Sundari, even though Minority Welfare Minister Sahid Chowdhury was allowed to pray namaz with Muslims openly.

The CPI-M even though never voiced against Sonamura based smugglers, just because they are Muslims and it will affect CPI-M's vote banks but against RSS CPI-M's protest has always been high.

Chief Minister just because of such politics, didn't condemn the murder of BSF Officer Dipak Mandal, who was killed by 20 - 25 smugglers. Moreover being the Home Minister rather than him, nobody is responsible to dump the case without proper investigation.

Chief Minister Manik Sarkar to all Hindu Communists never attended the last funeral ritual (Shradh) of their own mother, but question is what happening suddenly that the Communists are feeling the importance of Hindu vote banks for survival ? However, more hypocrisies, dramas are expected as after 25 years, Melarmath has received actual Opposition this time, which is saffron colorized.
