AGARTALA, Dec 22 (TIWN): Tripura’s Congress MLA Ratan Lal Nath, after joining in BJP has announced that time the Assembly Election Battle will be a Battle-of-Mahabharata, where the evil will be killed and the goodness will exist". However, the excited Congress MLA even before the joining programme had begun, he started his speech with ‘Bharat Mata Ki Joy’ slogan, had been gheraoed by thousands of BJP youths, women and other state level activists in front of BJP HQ at Krishna Nagar. A major part of his speech was delivered in Kokborok and along with the MLA more 200 families have joined BJP today. Congress Councilor Himani Debbarma also have changed her political identity joining BJP with Ratan Lal Nath.“This is a battle against corruption, a battle against derivation which the CPI-M has been continued to play since its 25 yrs of regimeâ€, said Nath.
“There were many Govts earlier at Centre, but no govt raised voice against corruption”, the MLA saying this further exchanged “Modi-Modi” slogan in front of BJP HQ.
Ratan Lal Nath further said, "This time the Assembly Election will be straight forward, no proxy will be allowed. BJP will not allow a single fake vote in CPI-M’s vote banks and that’s why it’s a Battle of Mahabharata. All evils will be ended and all good things will last".
"In India I have not seen such a Govt which announced to fight against corruption under visionary Prime Minister Narendra Modi", added Nath.
Criticizing the unemployment rate of Tripura, Ratan Lal brought a comparison of Tripura with other states and questioned the CPI-M govt reason behind for bearing highest unemployment rate of India. Nath also claimed, “At Gujarat , the unemployment rate is only 0.9 %, which means nobody is unemployed there.
BJP National General secretary Ram Madhav, State BJP President Biplab Deb both have praised the MLA claiming, ‘He is the actual beneficiary of his area, working for area’s development’.
MLA Sudip Barman also mentioned that 2018 will not only a battle among CPI-M and BJP but it’s against corruption.
Addressing the mass gathering in front of BJP HQ, Assam Minister Himanata Buswa Sarma said, “100 % guarantee that CPI-M will not come in Tripura this time. The way BJP is working, the party’s winning is for sure".
"CPI-M’s corruption has left Tripura Govt employees without any benefits, unemployment has hiked at its highest percentage. Now, the saffron has brought a new wave, new hope, promised to dig out all the corruption from which the state has been suffered a lot”, added Sarma.
