AGARTALA, Dec 18 (TIWN): Hence only 13 days left that as per the Supreme Court's order that the 10323 teachers are going to lose their jobs and the termination date is 31st December, 2017. On the other side, state govt is busy now in paper making for 10323's fresh recruitment on ad hoc basis which will be continued for 6 months from January 1st to June 30. For that state govt has to apply to the centre separately asking salaries by 90 : 10 basis. Due to this busy schedules, the Minister are unable to concentrate in election campaigning well as one after one corruption cases are getting exposed. Either CBI or Recruitment corruption, there is no relief for CPI-M after 25 years of one-way ruling.

Tripura Govt will give a fresh circulation, appointing 10323 teachers on temporary basis and on purely contractual basis as the SC has rejected Graduate Teachers plea of job-extension. However, CPI-M has been heavily benefited with that much SC's allowance as already Election will be done within June month. After that everybody knows like computer teachers and terminated RMSA staffs the teachers will not be taken for granted. 'Pashe Achi' slogan will also be forgotten as the election will go but the teachers thinking it as Job-Extension had celebrated today at Melarmath.

The prayer was done for 1 year more extension whereas SC has permitted for 6 months only. The State Govt told Supreme Court that December is the middle of the session and thus termination will cause massive crisis to the Education system. SC in its verdict wrote, "On 31st December, 2017, the tenure of the incumbents will come to an end. Thereafter their appointments will only for 6 months on ad-hoc basis on such fresh terms that the state govt may impose. Thereafter one of the said incumbent will continue".

The order further said, "No further orders in these applications..."

BJP Spokesperson Dr Ashok Sinha on Thursday welcoming the SC's judgment said that CPI-M now must accept that SC is not biased but it plays independent role, even though the 6 months extension is not a permanent solution, just a temporary relief for the teachers.

"The prayer was done for 1 year more extension whereas SC has permitted for 6 months only. The State Govt told Supreme Court that December is the middle of the session and thus termination will cause massive crisis to the Education system", said Sinha.

The Supreme Court of India on Thursday has permitted Tripura's terminated 10323 teachers to continue their jobs for more 6 months but with fresh recruitment by the state govt. However, this time SC has set the dead line as 30th June, 2018 as the teachers last day for teaching job under the Govt of Tripura. On the other side, 12000 non-teaching jobs' recruitment are on hold. The 10323 teachers are happy with the acceptance of the review-petition of the terminated teachers. The 3 cases : 37795 / 2017, 377798/ 2017, 39674/ 2017 representing GT, PGT and Primary teachers. The Supreme Court earlier, on Monday deferred hearing in the case relating to 10,323 government teachers of Tripura, who are set to lose their jobs on December 31 following an apex court order but today the Court has finally permitted teachers for 6 months of temporary jobs under state govt, whereas the termination is on 31st Dec, 2017.
