AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): A terrible bus accident has occurred Bagma turning under Udaipur at around 3.30 PM today. Tripura Infoway (TIWN) had updated an Emergency Alert news on National Highway on yesterday night 12 AM. The attempt of the report was to draw Disaster Management and Traffic Dept’s attention in this serious condition that the passengers are facing. Due to lack of police, traffic officials on the road the vehicles are moving amidst the emergency situations without any direction and today's bus accident on Agartala-Sabroom route is a result of State Govt's negligence. Talking to Udaipur SDPO Rajendra Datta, he said that at Bangma one bus has been collided with a heavy vehicle today. R K Pur Police has informed that the bus was coming from Baikhora, South Tripura and was on the way to Agartala. The bus driver and some passengers have been injured critically in the accident and admitted in Gomati Dist Hospital right now.
State Govt turned mute spectator rather than deploying Disaster Management trainees and staffs during the National Highway emergency situation as now a two-hours journey have turned six-hours journey with many accidents already took place due to the dangerous condition of National Highways.
Since yesterday afternoon, the Amtali road remained paused with reports of some accidents without much injuries or death. But what surprises is that in such an emergency situation, Disaster Management remained absent, whereas lack of police and traffic man felt across the journey of the daily passengers.
