AGARTALA, Dec 9 (TIWN): Chaos has hit the Marx Engels Soroni, after Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha has once again denied to meet the Agriculture Depts irregular employees, who are striving for being regularized since many years. Yesterday the staffs had met Director of Agriculture D P Sarkar but he said that whole report has been sent to the Finance Dept and now it's up to the Minister whether to regularize them or not. In this regard, the irregular staffs wanted to meet Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha today, but the Minister has strictly denied to meet them further. It fueled the employees with angers led them to gherao Finance Minister's residence. Talking to media, the irregular staffs said, "We will not go from here unless and until he meets us. We will wait as the hunger is ours".
After roaming across various Govt Officials chambers the staffs standing in front of Finance Minister's residence said, "Since long, we have been demanding for our regularization. We have met many officials and yesterday Director said that he has sent our file to the state govt and now it's under finance minister. With this demand, we came to meet him, but he is unready to meet us".
"Our question is till when we will be waiting and like chillis in a mixture (Pata-Puta in Bengali), working inside gardens. We are working hard, but in return getting nothing. As we don't have futures, our children also don't have as our incomes are very less".
"All the organizations as Assembly, Raj Bhawan, Secretariat, Rabindra Bhawan--------are praised across India for beauty but nobody thinks for them who are working behind the screen. Nobody understands our pains", added the agitators.
"Only Finance Minister can make our lives better, but we are sad that amidst rain we are waiting to meet him but he has denied to meet us. But we will not go, as the hunger is ours", said the irregular staffs.
