AGARTALA, Dec 9 (TIWN): The CPI-M Govt, which has been looting state govt employees salaries per month and existing with 90 : 10 fund debacle with centre, has claimed that CPI-M can create its own fund, if central govt doesn’t give. Tripura’s power minister Manik Dey, under whose observation pending bills of TSECL had went up to 200 crores, has claimed that if BJP led central govt doesn’t release funds in Tripura, then it can create its own fund. “We are already investing by own, without help from centreâ€, claimed Mnaik Dey. “Who said Tripura didn’t receive development ? Today people are doing business nicely. If Tripura Govt didn’t spend upon them, Tripura’s economy would have been killed.â€, the Minister added. The Minister further criticized the Central govt for slashing MGNREGA funds.Amidst state govt employees per month salary cutting under 4th pay commission, the Minister further crying over MGNREGA funds said that CPI-M Govt can manage its own fund for development if central doesn’t give.
Recently, Tripura BJP Spokesperson Dr. Ashok Sinha has hit CPI-M leaders and the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s allegation against Central Govt for depriving Tripura with MGNREGA funds.
Addressing a press meet, Sinha said, “Chief Minister Manik Sarkar always talk about 42 days mandays and alleged rest fund was slashed by the central govt, which is not true’.
‘The MGNREGA funds for Tripura came on 10/4/2017, 13/ 9/ 2017, 18/ 10/ 2017, 18/ 10/ 2017 10/4/17 as per the utilization certificates were provided by the state govt. Moreover, talking about mandays, MGNREGA central deprivation are debates of shame. MGNREGA is useful for poorest people and too much of demand for mandays is not a matter of pride. Demand of MGNREGA means, state is undergoing too much of poverty”.
Ashok Sinha further said, “When CM was talking about MGNREGA funds, why was he silent about the thefts done by CPI-M regime under MGNREGA ? Why CM skipped about Bimal Chakraborty like cases ?”
“MGNREGA funds was theft highest in Tripura, than anyother state in India”, added Sinha
Recently it has been known that under Manik Sarkar's Chief Ministry Rs. 1 lakh crore was sanctioned from the Central Govt in last 20 years.
