AMARPUR / UDAIPUR, Nov 23 (TIWN): BJP-called strike has received huge response on Thursday across Gomati Dist.
From private to govt all institutions have been closed due to the dawn to dusk strike called by BJP.
Demanding Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s resignation and CBI probe in Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s murder case, State BJP had called the 12 hours strike across Tripura.
In front of Gomati DM Office at Udaipur picketing was given by the BJP activists led by MLA Pranajit Sinha Roy and Dist President Padma Mohon Jamatia.
BJP leaders have strongly condemned the murder of journalist who was the 2nd to be killed in last 2 months.
Overall in Gomati Dist, the strike has been successful.
