AGARTALA, Nov 22 (TIWN): Thousands of gathering was witnessed at Agartala Press Club when Tripura’s senior journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s body was brought.

State journalists followed a massive rally from Bhaumik’s house to the press club.

But surprisingly when various social, political leaders remained present on that occasion, Chief Minister Manik sarkar’s absence gloomed the situation.

However it was expected that CM will not come in the press club as in Santanu’s time also Chief Minister didn’t come to take the last glimpses of Santanu.

Senior journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik was shot dead yesterday by TSR 2^nd Bn Commandant’s bodyguard Nandalal Reang as per the instruction of the Commandant himself.
