AGARTALA, Nov 21 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is hiding under tight security and presently across his house huge security has been deployed following the murder incident of veteran journalist Sudip Datta Bhowmik.
State’s journalist has been killed, but the Chief Minister didn’t bother to visit the murder spot or hospital, rather under tight security he has taken shelter.
CM’s unnecessary fear has turned him already a laughing stock and state BJP have just conducted a ‘jungi-muchil’ in the capital city.
Bhaumik was writing and telecasting various corruption related news of the state. The veteran journalist also had published some write-ups exposing police’s loopholes of duty and cash-exchange policy of a section of police.
Already in Santanu murder case, police failed to arrest the culprits and now the senior journalist’s murder has broken the patience of state journalists.
Although 1 TSR Jawan named Nandu Reang was arrested, but state journalists have demanded CBI investigation in Sudip Datta Bhowmik's murder case.
Journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik's sensational murder inside TSR battlion camp reflects Manik Sarkar's lawless State Administration and nexus of CPI-M Politicians, Ministers, Corrupt Police forces.
