AGARTALA, Nov 14 (TIWN): Bijan Dhar has lied on National Highway pathos liabilities belong to Centre as Central Govt recently undertook just double lane project, but has no connection with broken roads created by PWD.

Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar even though on Monday referring gymnast Dipa Karmakar’s returning of BMW due to bad roadways can’t blame CPI-M’s corruption as National Highway’s owner is central govt, but the reality is something else.

National Highway has always been of state govts, but seeing the corruption of the state PWD the central govt has taken the charge of double lane project in hand and at the same time repairing the broken parts.

But National Highway’s pathetic condition belonged to the state govt always as National Highway since 25 years were handled by the state govt run PWD. 

Moreover when Dipa Karmakar returned the vehicle on that time double lane project was also in state PWD’s hands. So it was lie on CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar’s part that National Highway belongs to Centre.
