DHANPUR, Nov 10 (TIWN): Well, it has been proven that no Muslim man had conducted the notorious activity by chopping Loknath idol's head at Sonamura on Nov 3. The culprit Bikash Deb, voter of Dhanpur constituency, which belong to Chief Minister Manik Sarkar was nabbed by police after locals had complained. On Nov 3 Hindu Nagarik Samaj regardless men, women, children had come in massive protest at Sonamura after a Loknath idol was damaged at there. Along with the idol, the whole Asram (temple) was damaged in various parts. But locals are unready to believe police's version that only one person has done it.Following the attack one opposition activist said, “Hindus, Muslims are living in harmony since decades at Sonamura. Political intrigues are more suspected than any religion. It must be an action of CPI-M cadre".

However, under the pressure of Hindu Jagaran Mancha one was arrested but since the beginning the plot was set as if he is a mad person.

On the other side, after Loknath Temple was attacked at Sonamura, now Kali temples have been damaged in Agartala Ranjit Nagar. Devi Kali's hands were broken, hairs have been cut, lord Shiva's head was demolished. Along with Kali temple, Shani Mandirs were also damaged at there.

Following the Hindu Temples' attack at Agartala, Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.

Voicing against the notorious activity of miscreants which attacked 2 temples at Agartala, VHP had blocked Airport-Durga Chowmuhani road for hours. After SDM came and promised about culprits' arrest within 48 hours, then VHP withdrawn the blockade.

Now it's to be seen what story comes from this incident as BJP has already blamed the CPI-M's behind this activity, not any Muslim person.

Police successfully caught the culprit but unfortunately, the person who done this activity in cold blood, has been identified and labeled as mentally disbanded. The Sonamura Hindu temple attack was not a single person's activity, but when the situations got out of control, a full show of mental imbalance person's drama was staged at the police station, just as Samir Debnath's case at Melarmath  Party Office, who had beaten Tripura Minister Manik Dey at Melarmath but police after catching him declared as mentally imbalanced. In 2016, month of February, in a shocking development, one unemployedyouth named Samir Debnath sneaked into the CPI-M State headquarter at Melarmath around 8.30pm on Sunday night and assaulted Transport Minister ManikDey with a chair over the alleged dispute of pending business transaction of Rs 4 lakhs cash dealings. However, a Melarmath source told TIWN that this was nothing but a deal about job as Samir Debnath’s mother was also a Panchayat member, but as Dey was delaying to provide any job so he was beaten by Samir on that evening.

Later CPI-M mentioned him as ‘mentally unstable’ to avoid the issue further and there was not so far police action against him. Samir Debnath belongs to an influential CPI-M family from Ranirbazar area of Agartala. According to eyewitnesses, Samir Debnath came to meet Transport Minister ManikDey on that evening and demanded Rs 4 Lakhs rupees which allegedly owned by Minister ManikDey as part of ‘business transactions’ between them. Samir Debnath shouting asked ManikDey to pay the Rs 4 Lakhs money on the spot as his father is critically ill and admitted into a private hospital.

Manik Dey denied to talk to him and thus Samir Debnath lifted a chair and hit ManikDey, Minister Badal Chowdhury jumped to save his colleague and injured his hand.

According to sources , Samir’s mother is reportedly an active CPI-M panchayat member, also was involved in some sort of financial chain marketing business and underground activities where Minister is allegedly a partner.
