AGARTALA, Nov 10 (TIWN): Students, who are hardly 18 to 21 yrs old, but SFI dominated College Students are forcing to walk in rallies with unconstitutional demands in CPI-M ruled Tripura. However, whereas on Thursday SFI, TSU's rallies were nameplated by party-units but on Friday without any party banner the SFI dominated College students have come up with same demand, in addition to appoint Kokborok Teachers without B.Ed, TET. The ruling party here suddenly have become concerned about Kokborok's value addition to schools and colleges but in 25 yrs of regime, neither any step to appoint Kokborok teachers were taken nor the State Govt arranged their B.Ed courses, led massive shortages of Kokborok teachers. If Govt following SFI's drama appoints Kokborok teachers without B.Ed, who can save their jobs in Courts?
However, mockery of democracy has been continued in MBB, BBMC, Women's Colleges just as at JNU in the name of Freedom of Speech students dare to voice Anti-National.
On November 9 (yesterday) SFI, TSU have come up with 3 demands with tribal sentiments raising voice for Kokborok's value and recognition in Tripura School, Colleges.
The 3 demands are :
1. To start Kokborok Honours in State colleges,
2. To appoint Kokborok teachers in school, colleges,
3. To appoint Kokborok and other teachers in schools.
However, seems it has been quite late when CPI-M has taken charge to increase tribal vote banks. How far their demands will help in the Assembly Election, it's to be seen.
But Question raises : 1. Why the demand came after 25 yrs ? 2) Who has stopped their CPI-M Govt to appoint as many qualified are left jobless ? 3. Just on Nov-8 1200 B.Ed qualified protested for teachers jobs. Why Tripura Govt is not appointing them ??
Today students without political banner added another demand i.e. to appoint Kokborok Teachers without B.Ed, TET.
