UDAIPUR, Nov 8 (TIWN): Ld. J.M 1st Class Court No.03, Udaipur Gomati Tripura, has convicted one person namely Sri Swapan Paul (32) S/O Lt. Pramode Rn. Paul of Rajapur PS Santirbazar, South Tripura District U/S 279/337/304(A) IPC.

 On 03-10-2013 R.K.Pur PS Case No. 2013RKP341 U/S- 279/338/304(A) IPC was registered on the compliant of one Sri Shyamal Sarkar S/O Manindra Sarkar of Latua tilla PS Baikhora South Tripura District, against the Driver of vehicle B/No.TR-01-A-3019 (Commander Jeep) for causing injury by Rash and Negligent Driving on 03-10-2013 at about 1630 hrs dashed the one Bike rider namely Litan Das at Garjee Natin Tilla,. As a result the the Bike rider received grievous injuries on his person & succumbed to his injuries at spot.

 After investigation I.O of the case SI Sanjit Debbarma filed Charge-sheet on 27-11-13 vide R.K.Pur PS C/S No. 335/2013, U/S 279/337/304(A) IPC against the Driver of offending vehicle namely Sri Swapan Paul (32) S/O Lt. Pramode Rn. Paul of Rajapur, PS Santirbazar, South Tripura District.

 The trial Court on appreciation of evidence found the accused person namely Sri Swapan Paul (32) is guilty U/S 279/337/304(A) IPC and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for a term of 06 ( Six) months for the commission of offence punishable U/S 279 IPC and to suffer rigorous imprisonment for a term of 06 ( Six) months for the offence punishable U/S 337 IPC & also to suffer rigorous imprisonment 02 (Two) years for the commission of offence punishable U/S 304(A) IPC. All the sentences shall run concurrently.
