AGARTALA, Nov 7 (TIWN): So called Poor people’s Govt, the honest(?) Chief Minister Manik Sarkar had been linked with at least 7 chit fund companies business promotion. Record says that Sarkar was attending atleast 7 chit fund companies programmes in various times. But question is, why the Chief Minister is not yet answering back MD of Waris Chit Fund company Shane Ahmed Warsi, who asked the Chief Minister to sell the remaining properties in Tripura and to return the deposited public money back. In the letter Mr. Warsi clearly wrote, “………My company has collected a huge amount from the open market through several policies and I have invested more than the collected amount to several properties which are in the name of my company of several localities in the state Tripura, which has a total valuation nearly approx about Rs. 75 croresâ€.
But the CM didn’t reply to the letter, which led deprived the poor investors of their deserve money.This letter was given on 3-11-2014 with court’s permission but CM didn't reply to that letter. MLA Sudip Barman has recently slammed the Chief Minister for not answering the letter.
Alleging that the state govt. has failed to take any necessary steps against the chit fund companies of the state, the opposition leader Sudip Roy Barman said that till today Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and his Ministers had helped the chit fund companies here in Tripura. Not only that in exchange of donations to party fund, no legal action against the companies which has looted the money of poor people of state at large. Rather the CPI (M) and its left front govt. is on a race to safeguard the chit fund companies.
In the very letter Ahmed Warsi the Chairman cum MD seeks permission for selling the properties through a receiver appointed by the Ld. Court.The letter was placed on November 6, 2014, where the chairman cum MD of Waris Chit Fund Company confessed that his company has collected a huge amount of money from the open market through several policies and he have invested more than the collected amount to several properties which are in the name of his company and which has a total valuation nearly approx about Rs. 75 Crores.
Ahmed Warsi the Chairman cum MD of Waris chit fund companies had sought a permission to sell his assets as he was suffering from a tremendous mental pressure that his creditors were giving him to return back the deposited money. But till today the state govt. has not taken any necessary steps on this and has been showing negligence in returning the creditors money, alleged Sudip Barman.
