AGARTALA, Nov 5 (TIWN): Eventhough CPI-M ruled Tripura has recorded with lowest GDP growth in India, but the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has claimed on Sunday at Kunjaban's Sporting Union Club organized blood donation camp that Tripura is now in heavy competition of development. "We are trying to stay in the competition of development amidst attempts of a section of people to pollute the environment", CM said targeting BJP. "Across the nation a tension has been generated, interfering in food habits, life-styles of the public. Hence we can't wall Tripura with boundaries, but we have to keep the things under control and with good works we have to appeal others towards positive thinking". But what CM didn't mentioned was Tripura’s GDP growth rate which is only 7 % and the lowest in the whole country even worse than Jharkhand and any North Eastern States.

Whereas on the Independence Day Tripura CM gave a one & half hours long speech to teach how to develop the economy of the country and how to increase the country made source of income but his own state suffers from lowest GDP growth.

Not only this Tripura has also shined in unemployment rate in the whole country. With a major shame for Tripura Govt, the state which covers the highest literacy rate; youths here are living as unemployed.

Tripura has 6-197 unemployed youths per 1000. Sikkim is second with 181, whereas Kerala is 125. Himachal Pradesh is 4th with 106, Goa 96, Arunachal Pradesh 89 as 5th.Gujrat has shined highest job-holders only with 10 unemployed per 1000.Wikipedia says, 'Tripura has the highest unemployment rate and ranks worst'.

Tripura’s slow GDP growth rate which has left the state without development, day by day its increasing the unemployment rate here in the state, whereas due to lack of Industrialization public's source of income has remained very slow but yet the state govt is not ready to adopt any private partner policy.

Public-private partnership (PPP) is a funding model for a public infrastructure project such as a new telecommunications system, airport or power plant, which has brought success in many states. The public partner is represented by the government at a local, state and/or national level, but Tripura Govt who instead of massive failure in industrialization, is not ready to adopt the PPP model and ended by saying, “…..it’s a bogus policy!”
