AGARTALA, Nov 4 (TIWN): BJP leader Sudip Barman on Saturday has raised question, how the state govt in Tripura declared Rose Valley scam as of Rs. 35 crores, which had extended Rs. 97.84 crores ?
Tripura Govt recently has given a press release refusing various allegations against the state govt on 10 issues.
But the allegations those were scripted by the Govt official themselves were wrong to confuse the public.
For example in Rose Valley allegation Tripura Govt published, " Rose Valley has cheated the poor and tribal people of the State in the tune of Rs. 35.00 crores. Chief Minister has praised the Rose Valley activities while inaugurating the Rose Valley Park at Agartala. The CBI also interrogated Smt. Bijita Nath, Minister on Rose Valley issue. It is also alleged that 5 more Ministers are involved in Rose Valley scam"........... Counterattacking the allegation itself, Barman said, "Who said Rose Valley was a Rs. 35 crore's scam? It was accepted by the CM himself that around 98 crores were looted by the Rose Valley".
"Whereas Chief Minister Manik Sarkar himself accepted in the Assembly that Rose Valley was a financial scam and under West Police Station's ongoing investigation, the scam was mounted with 97 crores 84 lakhs already, how Tripura Govt's notification published on Rose Valley said it was merely a Rs. 35 cores of scam" ? said Sudip Barman.
"Not only this, nowhere throughout the notification it was written that Chief Minister wasn't involve in the Rose Valley scam, neither the notification uttered a single line against the leaders' being brand ambassadors of the chit fund scam", said Barman.
Barman also raised question, why after 2013 when Sudipta Sen was arrested, Manik Sarkar allowed the chit fund scamsters to escape from state?
