AGARTALA, Nov 3 (TIWN): Even before the election, state BJP has got 6 MLAs, who will launch the Assembly Session on behalf of BJP.
MLA Diba Ch. Rankhol to represent as the opposition leader during the Assembly Session.
In the last Assembly the MLAs had been representing Trinamool but all of them were BJP bound but this time the MLAs to come up openly with full BJP recognition.
This has created much tension among the Congress MLAs who have however officially left with 3 MLAs and unofficially 2 MLAs with MLA Ratan lal Nath’s open BJP supporting (without party changing officially).
CPI-M however is against BJP’s entrance in the Assembly as the speaker Ramendra Ch. Debnath has signaled said, “The six legislators who joined the BJP on August 7 are yet to formally seek recognition as BJP MLAs. Now the scope to recognise them as BJP legislators is very limited as there is lack of time to do the necessary formalities for that”.
Assembly session for the winter to begin from Nov 13.
