AGARTALA, Oct 26 (TIWN): CPI-M ‘s tainted Minister Sahid Chowdhury not only deserves to remain behind bars for his anti-national activity involving Boxnagar, Sonamura based narcotics smuggling gangs but this CPI-M Minister also chief patronizer of Pakistan’s ISI and Bangladesh HUJI terrorists in Tripura. Why this so called Minister was sacked by Manik Sarkar after terrorist Mamun Mia’s arrest by Bengal CID on March 27,2008 ? Why such an anti-national harbouring terrorists roam free in India rather than in Jail ?

 When Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's negative remarks on his 2017 Independence-Day speech against the Central Govt was hurting India’s nationalism, BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar gave a tight slap to the Communist's love for Anti-National activities citing an example of Tripura Sports Minister Sahid Chowdhury, who had given shelter to a dangerous terrorist Mamun Mia, fake-named him ‘Suman Majumder’, who is being prisoned now in West Bengal Jail. 

Addressing a gathering after 2017 I-Day Sunil Deodhar said, "The Communists need to tell us what RSS has done for India's Freedom, everyone knows how were our freedom fighters".

"The freedom fighters were from every backgrounds regardless teachers, farmers. But point is we do not have to learn a lesson from the Communists who has empowered leaders as Sahid Chowdhury. The CPI-M Minister of Tripura had sheltered Mamun Mia like terrorists but caught when from outside police had exposed him. Secularism doesn't mean to make terrorist a hero ", Deodhar said after I-Day speech of Manik Sarkar.

Noteworthy, the former minister for Food and Civil Supply Sahid Chowdhury, who was dropped from the Left Front ministry in Tripura following alleged links with a Bangladeshi arms dealer was called back in ministry in 2013.

So, why Manik Sarkar sacked Sahid Chowdhury from CPI-M Ministry ? Because CPI-M realized Sahid Chowdhury's ISI and HUJI links with arms and narcotics smugglings are being exposed by investgating teams.

Back in 2008, it was West Bengal Police CID team which exposed that Minister Shahid Chowdury was having liaison with HUJI Terrorist Mamun. Sahid arranged a rented house for Mamun Mia in Agartala, helped Bangladeshi terrorist in getting Permanent Resident Certificate and Passport. Shahid Chowdhury and his wife were frequent visitors in Mamun’s rented shelter in Agartala.

Mamun Mia was arrested by the West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department on March 27, 2008 from Agartala following the arrest of two Bangladeshis, Alamgir Hussain and Shamim Akhtar, from Howrah along with some arms and exlosives.

Though HUJI terrorist Mamun didn't have a known source of income but lived a lavish life in a rented house of Chief Minister's relative hardly 200 metres away from the state police headquarters.

The rented house is said to be of a close relative of Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar where Mamun was introduced by Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sahid Choudhury. Mamun Mia in other words stayed under direct patronage of Sahid Chowdhury and Manik Sarkar.

Its West Bengal Police CID team which tracked HUJI terrorist Mamun Miah’s nexus with Minister Sahid Chowdhury, arrested Mamun Miah on March 27, 2008; otherwise Manik Sarkar’s Tripura Police wouldn’t have touched this HUJI terrorist and his relative Minister Shahid Chowdhury. Mian was arrested by the West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department on March 27 from Agartala following the arrest of two Bangladeshis, Alamgir Hussain and Shamim Akhtar, from Howrah along with some arms and exlosives.
Due to national and statewide public protests, Manik Sarkar was compelled to axe Shahid Chowdhury from Tripura Cabinet in 2008 to save CPI-M’s face. Shahid Chowdhury was having relations with members of global terrorist organisations, Al Qaeda and Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami, Bangladesh (HUJI).

However cash strapped CPI-M and CM Manik Sarkar’s mutual admiration for Sahid Chowdhury never faded so CM Manik brought back Shahid Chowdhuty into cabinet in 2013 as Sports Minister.

This issue was stressed by the BJP leader Sunil Deodhar when addressing on I-Day at Agartala.

Campaigning about BJP's ideology,  the BJP leader said, "PM Modi has asked terrorism to quit from India. His foreign visits are parts of it, because terrorists never live in the same country where they spread terror, but their shelter always have been in other countries. So from Communists we don't have to learn a lesson of humanity and terrorism". 

TIWN calls for a NIA (National Investigation Agency)  probe by Central Govt Team to expose the links of Sahid Chowdhury with Pakistan's ISI and Bangladesh HUJI for nexus with arms smuggling, narcotics production & drug smuggling. 

Sonamura, Boxanagar based massive ganja cultivations, heroin smuggling, arms smuggling, sheltering ISI and HUJI terrorists are soon to bite back CPI-M's poster boy Sahid Chowdhury.
