AGARTALA, Oct 25 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar not only promoted Rose Valley but influenced lakhs of people to invest in this Chit fund scam. 'There is no doubt that Rose Valley is an established company'..... who said this ? Answer is well known : Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said this to promote Rose Valley. In 2008, May 7 Manik Sarkar announced, "Rose Valley is business organization. They will exchange capitals now in this state. Now this is their turnover time which is yearly 700 to 750 crores. So there is no doubt that their business is expanding heavily". Based on his speech poor people surrendered their hard-earned moneys in Rose Valley but when Rose Valley was exposed Sarkar clearly hand-washed and said, 'I didn't know anything about it'.

CM also asked the MD Goutam Kundu to make a hotel near Matabari for religious people and to make it larger in coming days : it may be 5 floored or 18th floor but will be attractive for devotees". Later, a hotel was also made near Matabari, which has been recently sealed by State Govt. 

Earlier RBI held press meet asking Tripura Govt has failed to submit 'action taken reports' on Non Banking Financial Companies in 2013, even though for name sake the Govt filed cases and raided 40 companies.

Based on the suspicious role of the state govt opposition Congress, BJP, TMC raised many questions in CM and Rose Valley's nexus.

No 1 question was : Why Manik Sarkar gave industry land to Rose Valley ? State has not seen any industry-growth and CM has donated industry land to the Rose Valley group of agency. 2nd question is, in CPI-M regime people do not get their license for shops even after crossing a year, but within 20 days various Municipalities had given Rose Valley trade license ? Why so much sympathy for Rose Valley ? And the most important question is why Manik Sarkar inaugurated the Rose Valley park ?

Manik Sarkar has been the chief accused for branding Rose Valley in Tripura telling the people, “740 crores company is Rose Valley and so it must be good”. 

Tripura Daily Newspaper's former Editor cum CPI-M topmost leader Goutam Das was grilled by CBI in the month of June and the Minister Bijita Nath was also grilled by CBI for hours at her own chamber at Secretariat.

Recently CBI has allegedly questioned again Goutam Das but the leader has strictly denied the allegation and said "CBI will never come to meet me as I had no role to play there".

In this condition, how far the scamsters will be kept in release by CBI it's under question.
