BISHALGARH, Oct 25 (TIWN): Panchayat office left closed without any official holiday since 8 days at Bishalgarh.
Local people alleged that the officials are "sleeping happily at home by locking the panchayat office, disrupting the normal works including MGNREGA works".
The block under Kamasagar was inaugurated by local MLA on Oct 18. This block was newly created dividing the former block in two parts. It was expected that from now, the official works will be fasten with the new block's inauguration.
But since inauguration, it has crossed above a week but the office has remained closed till day.
Resentments have brewed among the locals as from MGNREGA works to other official works all have been paused due to it.
