AGARTALA, Oct 22 (TIWN): Howrah river water level has been increased triggering tension among the people across Agartala.
Already many houses have been affected due to rain and the water level that increased on river Howrah.
At Baldakhal and Srilanka Bosti, the situation is deteriorating.
Tension has gripped in river bank areas as the overflowing water already touched the river banks.
The Howrah River flows through the Indian city of Agartala and is the major river which flows in the Sadar subdivision of the Western District of Tripura.
