AGARTALA, Oct 15 (TIWN): Since one year Tripura people have been hearing a lot about Rajdhani Express's arrival but finally it's after a year, the dreams of passengers have been finalized ahead of Diwali. After 70 years of independence when Rajdhani has chugged on Tripura's soil, still rumours have gripped whether the arrived Express is actually Rajdhnai or not as NFR has not announced anything. Some are saying, "It's just an AC train and a big conspiracy is there". But breaking all the rumours, NFR Official M K Yadav said, "Rajdhani has arrived here at around 3 AM from Guawahti. NFR Officials are fixing the inauguration date of it". Now, it's time to look back how Rajdhani arrived in Tripura which couldn't come 25 yrs of CPI-M regime and 70 years of India's independence.

It was, Tripura PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury on July-31st, 2016 during Tripura Sundari express's inauguration (Tripura's 1st Express train) asked Suresh Prabhu at Agartala Airport, "Why are you not affording for Rajdhani service ?" 

On that time, Suresh Prabu said, "Rajdhani is not afforded because nobody demanded for it. So, now I promise that Central Govt will give Tripura a Rajdhani soon". Although Prabhu wanted the Rajdhani's function in Tripura within one month but due to safety issues it has been slightly delayed but now only few days left when passenger service of Rajdhani to begin, most likely from the day of Diwali.

On July 31st, 2016 the then Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu turned  emotional, excited after seeing the mass gathering of Tripura people at Agartala Railway Station. Prabhu clearly said, "I never saw such a crowd like this. The mass gathering says how much Tripura's passengers have been waiting for Express. So, Delhi is no more far away with Tripura Sundari's inauguration". Suresh Prabhu who

While inaugurating Tripura Sundari Express, which was the 1st Express chugged on Tripura soil, he said, "This is nothing many Sundaris will come in coming days". However, proving the Govt's words as true now under new Raiulway Minister Piyush Goyal Rajdhani has arrived in Tripura on Saturday early morning.
