AGARTALA, Sep 28 (TIWN): Increasing numbers of Durga pujas hve been observed this year across the capital city Agartala.

Along with pandals and temples, households have organized pujas in their houses this year in larger numbers.

At Bordowali, local people rushed to Kanai Lal Singha’s house in the morning on the occasion of Maha-Astami.

When public are resented with high donation demands by  Puja clubs, house to house increasing number of pujas find out places for actual puja with devotion, rather than fabricated 20 lakhs / 30 lakhs of puja budgets led various pujas.

Durga Ashtami or Maha Ashtami is one of the most auspicious days of ten days long Durga Puja Festival. In India fasting is undertaken by many people on this holy occasion.
