AGARTALA, Sep 11 (TIWN): After the first crime done by Tripura Govt when it hided the Central Govt’s letter came on Aug-3 about teachers training that was only exposed only after media publication, it had decided to continue another crime by ‘Not Cooperating’ with the teachers in admission procedure. Many IS officers, HMs are directly telling the teachers, ‘Take your online admission first and no talk before it’ ! However, now State Govt has started another crime by harassing teachers through online admission and by ‘Not opening seats’ in many schools yet for take admission under National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). When teachers are going to take admission it's asking an option of 3 nearby schools of his / her choice but surprising matter is maximum times all schools’ seats are shown as booked.

Moreover, maximum times in local schools even "seats have not yet opened" status is shown. Such things are happening when only 4/ 5 days have been left for the Late Admission’s last date.

For example, if an Udaipur teacher is applying for online-admission, the seats are showing available in Kumarghat, Dharmanagar, Belonia even in case of blind teachers. How an Udaipur teacher can go to North Tripura for his / her classes ?

A source said that some shop-keepers to whom teachers are going to take admission they are saying ‘With near about 1 lakh rupees we can manage you seats’.

On Sunday, a blind teacher went to Gomati Dist Dy Director Laxman Das to know about the admission procedure as although the teacher is blind but Tripura Govt has kept him in normal school since 2007. Also the teachers doesn’t know about braille method of teaching. But Laxman Das behaved with the candidate very rudely and asked the teachers, “Don’t come before your admission is done”.

However, in local shop when s/he was taking admission it was seen for Udaipur candidate only Kumarghat, Dharmanagar, Belonia's seats are the options whereas KBI school till day has not begun their seat distribution when 5 days left for the ‘Last date’.

In this conditions teachers are suffering heavily and undergoing huge tensions. However, opposition parties yet to acknowledge the issue leading no protest over such issues.

The state govt’s non-cooperative behaviours are being criticized by teachers but nothing can be done and for admission if money is asked by brokers they are bound to give.

However, keynote is nobody should go with the brokers as state govt is bound to give seats to the teachers in their local areas.
