AGARTALA, Sep 10 (TIWN): Will Lankesh’s case be another slap for Congress, CPI-M just as ‘Non-Dalit’ Rohit Vemula’s case ? The Special Investigation Team (SIT) had probed all the angles and has listed the suspects in the case. The top suspect in this list is the naxal leader Vikram Gowda. Although there are some different angles of the case, but Vikram Gowda is the highest accused now. Thus time has come that left and right wings should seek apologies for blaming their opposition party without any evidence. However, as expected Congress, CPI-M will not apologize just as they didn’t do in Rohit Vemula’s time. It was later proved that Rohit Vemula neither was a Dalit, nor his suicide was related to College issues, rather he was a frustrated child, even though his mother also involved in politicization of her son’s death.
Hyderabad student Rohit Vemula's labeling as a "Dalit" was a post-suicide politics by CPI-M with sole aim to politicize the issue with sensitivity. CPI-M leaders from Prakash Karat to Manik Sarkar wasted no time in capitalizing on 'Dalit' politics to glorify anti-nationalism. Will now Manik Sarkar and Sitaram yechury beg mercy for burning Hyderabad University campus as Rohit was not a DALIT at all ? Neither Vemula was a Dalit nor he died due to political clash, but the youth who was all alone, neglected since childhood although had a mother. Tripura Manik Sarkar targeted BJP, condemned Vemula’s suicide, but the shameless politicians never apologized after Vemula’s death reason came in front and same ofcourse will be done if Lankesh’s death proves by Naxal.
Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on World Literacy Day said, “The condition of our country is pathetic. Gauri Lankesh was very outspoken against the communal clashes and that’s the reason she was killed ? RSS’s Hindutva is killing nation”.
Senior journalist, editor and activist Gauri Lankesh, 55, was shot dead by unidentified assailants at the entrance of her home in Bengaluru West on Tuesday evening. Four bullets were pumped into the editor of the Kannada weekly Lankesh Patrike at her doorstep after she had stepped out of her car and opened the gates to her home which lay in darkness at around 8 pm. Lankesh was convicted in a defamation case filed by BJP MP Prahlad Joshi over a report published in her paper and that led Rahul Gandhi to say ‘whoever is talk against BJP, RSS they are attacked and killed’.
But now question throws at Rahul Gandhi will he apologize if SIT’s angle of Naxal-killed-Lankesh proves true ? Will Manik Sarkar apologize as he himself has kept banned Naxal in his state in the name of CPI ?
