AGARTALA / UDAIPUR, Sep 2 (TIWN): Ld. J.M 1st Class Court No.02, Udaipur Gomati Tripura, has convicted one person namely Sri Rana Debnath (23) S/O Sri. Keshab Debnath of Rajnagar PS R.K.Pur, Gomati District U/S 279 IPC read with section 184/187 of M.V Act.

 On 01-12-2016 R.K.Pur PS Case No. 2016RKP149 U/S- 279/338 IPC & 177/184 of M.V Act was registered on the compliant of one Sri Shiba Sankar Dey S/O Lt. Jatindra Ch. Dey of West Gakulpur PS R.K.Pur, against the Rider of vehicle B/No.TR-03-C-5074 (Motor Bike)  namely Sri Rana Debnath (23) S/O Sri. Keshab Debnath of Rajnagar PS R.K.Pur, Gomati District; for causing injury by Rash and Negligent Driving on 16-09-2016 at about 1430 hrs dashed the complainant, when he was standing in front in his shop located at Newtown Road Udaipur . As a result the complainant received grievous injuries on his person.

After investigation I.O of the case SI Prabal Deb filed Charge-sheet on 01-06-2017 vide R.K.Pur PS C/S No. 81/2017, U/S 279/338 IPC read with section 177/184/187 of M.V Act against the Rider of offending vehicle namely Rana Debnath (23) S/O Sri. Keshab Debnath of Rajnagar PS R.K.Pur, Gomati District.

The trial Court on appreciation of evidence found the accused person namely Rana Debnath (23) is guilty U/S 279 IPC read with section 184/187 of M.V Act and sentenced to pay a fine of Rs. 500/- each of Penal section in default of pay a fine to suffer  simple imprisonment for 15 (Fifteen) days.
