AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): Prasar Bharat's tight slap yet to straighten shameless Tripura commies. ICA Minister Bhanulal Saha in a press conference held on Wednesday told media that it's a kind of emergency situation emerged in the country after Doordarshan rejects CM's speech. Reacting over DD's rejection of CM's speech, Saha said, "They asked to cut the speech of CM but CM clearly said it's not possible. Same also happened in Nripen Chakraborty's time once as per my knowledge", said Saha. "CM's speech was normal. What such anti-nationalist he said ? 15 August speech happens like that only. However, whatever their propaganda-motto they might have followed on 15th August", said Saha. Asking about what state govt will do, Saha said, "We will do propaganda against it". However, Tripura Govt will not go with any official letter to the Centre". However, the CPI-M on Tuesday denounced the refusal by Doordarshan and All India Radio (AIR) to broadcast the customary Independence Day address of Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and sought action against officers who took the decision.

Manik Sarkar in his speech said, "If we review the Haal-Hakitat of our nation we will see only corporate sectors existence are there, whereas poverty is increasing at its space".

Manik Sarkar said, "In our constitution it has been clearly written that what religion will be one's identity it's fully upto the person. Nobody has right to disturb one's religion but today it has been seen that only one religion is given importance. They are with their narrow religious mentality are targeting the minority, killing other religion's people. If we can not stop the aggressiveness, then there is no meaning of celebrating Independence day".

The Doordarshan and AIR had recorded his speech for the occasion. However, they informed him that the speech cannot be carried as it was and asked him to "reshape" it, the CPI-M said in a statement.

In an interview with CPI-M Party Office located Daily Deser Katha Manik Sarkar said, ‘I said because Centre’s policy will not work out in Tripura. They have to understand policies should be different for every places. All state’s policy will not be same”. “The unemployment issue is burning the state. Everywhere youths are standing in queues fro job ? Where is the job ?”, said Manik Sarkar. However, in interview with Deser Katha Manik Sarkar didn’t mention many things that he told the people there.

Whereas he is using ICA Dept for his own political propaganda but he hit the Doordashan who clearly said that being responsible media they will not broadcast his speech. Doordarshan clearly said, “The message of Chief Minister has been closely examined by our competent authority.
