AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): Comparing with Mahatma Gandhi, former RSS leader and present BJP State Observer for Tripura said in an Independence Day celebration programme in Agartala, "After Mahatma Gandhi in India till the 70 years of independence it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi whose influence on common people is highest. India had great leaders as Indira Gandhi, Atal Bihar Vajpayee but the only person who can be compared with Mahatma Gandhi is PM Modi". "It's not that only Mahatma Gandhi was the only freedom fighter, but figures like Bhagat Singh, Netaji were highly respected, honoured by public but people hardly wanted their own family members would be like those great leaders. Thus, it was Mahatma Gandhi who by his non-violence movement led the freedom move against British gaining a huge supports from the common people. His policy was if British came in India for business let kill their business and with made-in-India projects and making clothes at home without any bloodshed the freedom fight began under Mahatma Gandhi"."On that time, people almost would not listen if Mahatma Gandhi doesn't ask. That much influential leader he was".

"After Mahatma Gandhi, nobody could gain equal  leadership like Mahatma Gandhi in India", said Deodhar.

"Mahatma Gandhi's quit India movement was followed by PM Modi since the beginning. First he asked all the garbage to quit the nation. Before PM Modi although clean India movement was there, but there was no alike movement influenced the people so much", said Deodhar.

"Next he asked poverty to quit India. The people who said "Garibi Hatao" in the name of "Garibi Hatao" they started to repulse the "Garibs" indeed. But Modi Ji from Jandhan Yojna to others schemes, one after one projects launched, lakhs of youths were given loans. Modi Ji asked youths 'Don't beg job and become such a person who can give others jobs via business".

"Ujjala Yojna is a part to serve the mothers of our country. First time in India being asked by PM Modi more than Rs. 1 crores rich people gave their subsidy for the poor", said Deodhar.

"He has asked terrorism to quit. His foreign visits are parts of it, because terrorists never live in the same country where they spread terror, but their shelter always have been in other countries.....", said Deodhar.

"Modi asked corruption to go away. He asked cast-system to go.....", said Deodhar while addressing in a programme on Independence Day.
