Landslide cripples main road : 20,000 people affected

SONAMURA, Aug 14 (TIWN): Since 5 long days a main road at Sonamura has been paralyzed due to landslide affecting over 20,000 people.

The main road of  Sonamura to Agartala via Bisramganj since a year was left in pathetic shape fueled the troubles with various holes on the roads and broken parts.

But after the incessant rain received on last few days, a major part of the road was totally paralyzed addeded landslides.

The resentment was brewed when after 5 days also, the authority has not come out of slumber to recover the road.

Atleast 20,000 people are being affected due to the paralyzed road including students and office goers.

The MLAs of the nearby areas  have also remained out of reach leading mass anger among the locals.
