AGARTALA, Aug 10 (TIWN): BJP has organized massive rally of the indigenous people at Agartala in protest against the murder of Nishikanta Chakma, an indigenous karyakarta of BJP . On the historic day of the Quit India Movement , BJP has practically launched the "CPI-M - Quit Tripura Movement ." The massive gathering of people during Nishikanta's funeral rally showed that the CPI-M's foothold in the tribal belts is declining day by day . And the assembling of 20000 thousands indigenous people is seen as a signal for CPI-M's end in Tripura . The rally is said to be the biggest of such type in the last few years . And quite naturally BJP leaders are delighted to see such a huge crowd . And state BJP President Biplab Deb was even seen speaking in Kokborok in the initial stage of his speech .

Arunachal Pradesh CM PremaKhanduuttered in his own style ," If kamal(lotus) can bloom in Arunachal , it can also do the same in Tripura too . And next assembly poll will mark the end of CPI-M in Tripura. "People of Tripura may have found an alternative against the misrule of CPI-M . And as such more and more people are joining the saffron brigade day by day .

For CPI-M party too the recent developments are not good signs . In yesterday’s rally indigenous people from the remote areas of Sabroom , ShantirBazar, Longthorai Valley , Chaomanu , Khowai , Kamalpur and from other places assembled . These areas were once regarded as the hunting grounds for CPI-M . That CPI-M are worried about BJP becomes clear from an old GanamuktiParishad member(unwilling to reveal his identity ) of Chebri and he said ," There is no denying of the facts that the young generation of our families are not showing any interest in GMP or in CPI-Mparty . Contrary to the tradition of indigenous people the youths are more interested in BJP than CPI-M and even IPFT . This is really worrying sign for us. "

Presently state govt is in awkward position due to the following reasons :-

  1. Termination 10323 teachers' jobs
  2. Mass anger among the SSA and other contractual employees
  3. Deprivation imposed by Manik Sarkar led govt upon the state govt employees regarding the financial benefits as per 7th CPC
  4. Breakdown of law and order situation and increasing number of violence against women
  5. IPFTs Twipra Land demand
  6. Refusal of renewal of CPI-M membership by 5000 state govt employees

And quite often BJP leaders are seen to assure the people on many issues:-

  1. State BJP president Biplab Deb promised that if BJP comes in power in 2018 it will regularize the SSA employees
  2. BJP National President Amit Shah too promised that BJP will implement 7th CPC for state employees in its first cabinet meeting
  3. On 7th August NEDA convener HimantaBiswa Sharma too assured that BJP will implement 7th CPC proposal in Tripura in the first cabinet meeting.

Day by day CPI-M is going to back foot due to BJPs aggressive politics . And the massive support base in the tribal belts is an indication that in the coming days CPI-M may have to face landslides defeat in the hands of BJP . With PM Modi , Amit Shah , Rajnath Singh , ArunJetley and 40 more leaders expected to come in Tripura for assembly poll campaign , CPI-M is already facing the pressure .
