AGARTALA, Aug 10 (TIWN): Criticism has hit against Badal Choudhury's Health Dept after publishing wrong report in Tripura Govt’s Health Dept's Website regarding trauma centre. Tripura neither has any trauma centre not it has experienced and sufficient numbers of doctors to run trauma centre, even though fund was released for GB trauma centre long back by the central govt. In the website it has been clearly written about trauma centre of AGMC and GB hospital as 'Construction is completed in all respect. Trained manpower is available. Few radiological machinery and equipment are to be installed. Inaugurated on June 2017". This uploaded data was refuted by opposition BJP's spokesperson Dr Ashok Sinha saying Tripura has no trauma centre. Again Health Minister Badal Choudhury himself accepted that the trauma centre is yet to begin at GB due to lack of doctors and infrastructure, when he was visiting at Kanchanpur. Addressing a press conference at Party Office, Ashok Sinha said, "I already said that Badal Choudhury is lying on many things and the trauma centre is his another big scam of him".

Striking CPI-M politics, Sinha said, "It's nothing news. The CPI-M has no shame to say continuous lies".

Recently another medical scam was exposed by opposition BJP with Tripura's one of the medical college where Tripura Govt is allegedly taking high admission fees whereas by pen and paper the college is a govt college.

Showing printed papers, Sinha exposed Salil Saha not only an Assistant professor, but also later was turned an Associate Professor by the state govt.

In the same fashion various health dept scams have been exposed of Tripura Govt. Another scam is hitting the poor patients is negligence with generic medicine centre.

The doctors in Tripura eventhough stage mass demonstration reacting against ‘patients’ arrogancy’, sometimes doctors under unions go to strike without checking their patients in Govt hospitals, actually bend to be corrupted with the free lisence of commission-business. The highest sufferers due to such attitudes of the doctors are those patients who need multiple medicines per day, whereas via Generic Medicine Centre such patients can get  a medicine in very cheap price.

With all these the trauma centre is one of the topmost corruption story now in Tripura under the Health Dept.
