AGARTALA, Aug 8 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister eventhough couldn't meet the hunger strikers of SSA at Orient Chowmuhani, just because they had exposed CPI-M's mega scam of looting teachers' salaries, but when another group of teachers came waving red flags under TCTEA, Tapan Chakraborty accepted their deputation as well as met them in his chamber at Secretariat. The teachers instead of asking for the regularization-notification and the money that the state govt had looted from 2010-11 they added voice against Central Govt's attempts of 'privatization of Education system'. The SSA, RMSA teachers although have claimed it's an apolitical move named as Mahakaran-Abhiyan, but question raised, why the Minister is behaving differently with the present SSA group and why he didn't meet the hunger strikers of another SSA group ? Isn't it now a political interference in Tripura Education system ? However, in the press release, Raj Kumar Chowdhury, TCTEA State Committee Secretary urged all the teachers to jointly come and fight for their right.

In a press release, the SSA, RMSA teachers said, "We, the contractual teachers on 7th August will go in massive protest by placing deputation to the Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty with 12 points of demands; among which the demand of regularizing will be given the first priority. On that day all the teachers will gather at Astabol ground and jointly held a Mahakaran-Abhiyan and will place deputation to the Education Minister".

The Secretary also alleged a intrigue is going on to break down the unity of the teachers with aim to weaken the protest.  The teachers also urged the other teachers to join them to strengthen their stand to the Education Minister.
