AGARTALA, Aug 8 (TIWN): Tripura voters fed-up with endless corruptions by CPI-MGovt for long 24 years inclined towards BJP due to Modi Govt's drive for ‘clean India’ free from all corruptions. Modi Govt's demonetization, GST, Adhaar are based on such plans so far for which people in Tripura gave a huge response. In a political immaturity, BJP has accepted corrupt elements like Sudip Barman’s coterie of half-dozen of MLAs in presence of Assam’s most corrupt Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma against wishes of masses. Rather than bringing new faces and winning elections with honest party cadres, State BJP chosen all trojan horses whose seasoned skills in destabilizing opposition parties already paralyzed State Congress, Trinamool beyond repair. Trinamool MLAs trading into BJP (brokered by Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma) saddened a major section of people, who were once upon a time hardcore CPI-M supporters in 80's era, later tortured by Congress goons in 1989-93 and now fed up with CPI-M's corruption. Today, when people hoping for a change, it's not because of old faces but the ‘corruption-free’ slogans of Modi Govt.

Modi’s ‘Act-East’ policy brought BG railway in Tripura, apart from many other developments like Indias 3rd Internet gateway. On the BG railway inauguration day, Suresh Prabhu told spellbound public, "I never saw such a crowd which I saw today in Tripura".

At that time in 2016,2015 neither Sudip Barman nor any corrupt Assam Minister like Himanta Biswa Sarma helped BJP to invite people to see express train. It was people urging for broad gauge which they didn't get even after 70 years of independence due to Congress era’s apathy.

Clean image of BJP and corruption free Central govt with its NITI Aayog policy enlarged BJP in Tripura.

But what if BJP comes in power after 25 years of CPI-M regime and indulged in scams just as Trinamool leaders or like Assam’s Himanta Bishwa Sarma?

In nearby West Bengal people again fed up with Mamata Banerjee due to endless corruptions.

On Mondat, Hemanta Biswa Sarma, who ran the whole game of Sudip Barman's entry into BJP actually was a known criminal who  was summoned by CBI for his involvements with Sarada scam.

On July 21, 2015, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released a booklet at a meeting of party MPs in New Delhi with the title ‘Water Supply Scam 2010 in Goa and Guwahati’. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP booklet alleged that Himanta Biswa Sarma, who was the minister in charge of the Guwahati Development Department (GDD) in what was then the Congress government in Assam, was a key scamster related to a Guwahati water supply project which involved services hired from the American multinational construction management company, Louis Berger International Inc.

A former Assam DGP Sankar Barua, whose house was also searched in August this year in connection with the Saradha scam probe, had committed suicide.

However, it was Hemanta Biswa Sarma who asked Sudip Barman and other MLAs to vote for Kovind in Presidential Election and the joining of 6 MLAs' credit belongs to Assam Minister.

But now BJP has made its politics dirty by shaking it's pure, clean hands with decade long corrupt leaders for backdoor entry into Assembly, which if BJP had been working hard and focused on vote banks then the success would have come automatically.

Six new BJP inducted MLAs deserted Congress and joined Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool for money, now deserted Trinamool for BJP certainly for cash as corrupt Himanta Biswa led Barman brigade cares less of ethics & values.

Time will only tell how BJP handles this self-created cancer as 2018 Assembly Election knocking door.
