AGARTALA, Aug 7 (TIWN): Criticism raised after Tripura BJP State President shared a dais with Central Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Kr. Pradhan and Tripura Food & Civil Supply Minister Bhanulal Saha at Rabindra Bhawan.

Whereas recently joined BJP leader Ratan Lal Nath also remained present in that programme but he is an MLA, whereas Biplab Deb is not.

The audiences were also from all BJP as the joining programme of Ex-Trinamool MLAs were scheduled to be held in front of Rabindra Bhawan.

Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Kr. Pradhan has inaugurated “Pradhan Mantri Ujjala Yojna” programme, a free scheme for all the people of Tripura.

The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) is a welfare program of the government of India, launched by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2016. The stated objective of the program is providing 50,000,000 LPG connections to women from families below the poverty line.

 As of 3 April 2017, twenty million LPG connections had been completed. It is guided by a strong commitment to bring in changes in lives of poor women
