AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): Reacting over Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty's allegation that SSA teachers' protests are motivated by BJP, Ashok Sinha said there are many protests since 1975 led by teachers, whereas CPI-M promised to be together when CPI-M was not in power.
Refusing Tapan Chakraborty's allegation of SSA teachers' regularization matter is fully upto the central Govt, Sinha shared a letter from the Central Govt. where it clearly says that the regularization matter is fully depends upon state govt.
The letter of 3rd April, 2017 by Manjit Kumar, Under Secretary of Govt of India says, "Teachers will be recruited as per terms and conditions of the respective states / UT".
"Therefore it is to inform that the service conditions, mode of recruitment, rule and regulation relating to engagement, cadre of teachers, remuneration and other benefits of SSA teacher/ employees either contract basis or regular basis come in the domain of concerned state govt and which may vary from state to state", said the letter further.
The BJP spokesperson further said that Tripura Govt's behaviour with SSA teachers is just inhuman.
