AGARTALA, Aug 1 (TIWN): SSA teachers deeply believe that once central govt is asked by Tripura Govt to regularize the contractual teachers, it will surely permit for it. But in such a sitaution, what is stopping the Tripura Govt to raise the demand to the centre ?, the SSA teachers said on the 1st day of hunger strike.

Moreover, SSA teachers claimed in the name of irregular jobs, under SSA, RMSA the state govt is cutting the pockets of teachers, every months that can not be done once the teachers are regularized. In such a critical condition, the SSA teachers asked, ‘When state is suffering from teacher crisis, what is stopping the govt to regularize them; when state is creating 12000 non-teaching posts for 10,323 teachers. How can non-teaching staffs will elevate the school education quality’.

When Quality Education has set on a question mark by Indian Courts, Tripura Govt instead of focusing to regularize the contractual teachers and completing their B.Ed now busy in saving its face from damage before 2018 Election. Questioning on the 12000 non-teaching posts announcements that was created to reappoint the 10,323 teachers, the SSA contractual teachers said on Monday if non-teaching staffs can be appointed by the state govt why the contractual teachers can not be regularized ?

The teachers also claimed if Central Govt is being asked by Tripura Govt it will surely agree for regularizing the contractual teachers.

Apart from this, Tripura Govt was also accused for not paying the full salary to the SSA teachers that come from New Delhi.
