AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): CPI-M’s divisive politics destroying communal harmony, not sparing even hapless elderly citizens. This news is not to hurt out indigenous people's sentiment but to bare the CPI-M once again after TIWN’s interaction Udbastu (refugees) families who were desheltered long back since 1994. A mixed culture is good and healthy for development but ADC has successfully kept Bengali population free by left front Govt, whereas at the end nothing has been gained so far. When Ministers’ sons and daughters are working with the globe, the indigenous people’s sons and daughters maximum remained in shadow. ADC has remained undeveloped part of Tripura without any facility provided to the citizens till day, de-sheltering 5000 locals, killing Bengalis and keeping the hatred of Tribal/ Bengalis alive till day with a strange political benefit. In plain areas Anti-Tipraland demand has been spread whereas there are 5000 Udbastus made the indigenous people happy just by sentiment but in reality they got nothing except anti-bengali sentiments.

Talking to an Udbastu leaders (name hidden) he told TIWN, "It doesn't matter which govt is peaceful, which govt is anti-peace. But we have seen how our 65 people at Jumpui were killed and 6 who were kidnapped had never returned".

State Govt never highlights those things and surprisingly, the desheltering of Bengalis began from 1994 just after Left front regime begins in 1993. A close study reveals that 1993 was the beginning of left front era and from1994 the Bengali-free ADC making had started. The Udbastu leader also reminded, "In 1980 it was left front govt under whom the violence held".

At ADC in 1994 atleast 2000 people were outcasted, whereas till day across Tripura 4000 to 5000 people are living as Udbastus.

Presently 5000 Udbastus are residing over Bishalgrah, Sidai, Sadar, Belonia areas. Not even 5 % people have received their compensations till day.

"This was a fully plan-wise work done by this Govt. I will blame the present govt for our fates as it's our guardian now since 1994. I am also Indian but from everything I have been deprived. Ration, Patta, Security nothing has been given to us. I born in India, even I do not know when my grandfather came from other country", he said.

He further blamed Tripura Bengalis for lacking unity including Bengali leaders of the state.

This interview has recalled Manik Sarkar's 1992's statement as the opposition leader, "Tribals who were 70 % of the population, during Maharaja's time have now come to 23 %...the 'Bangladeshi foreigners' have started silently invading the TTADC...if this process is not stopped forthwith the Tribal identity itself will be in danger".

Today Bengalis are meant to foreigners due to CPI-M's dirty politics eventhough they know it very well cleaning Tripura from Bengalis would never be possible practically, but again in 2017 when as it's election time so this is again time for violence !
