Agartala, July 20 (TIWN): State BJP President on Thursday thanked Governor Tathagata Roy, Union Govt for ending 10 day long NH-8 blockade as Chief Minister Manik Sarkar failed to end this deadlock.
BJP President Biplab Deb hinted that Centre is in touch with IPFT's N.C.Debbarma for tri-partied talks in Delhi in coming week.
Biplab Deb highlighted CPI-M violence, corruption hitting Tribal belt ADC areas which is main reason for various 'Tipraland' kind of agitations.
Addressing a press meet, Biplab Deb on Thursday said, "What the State Govt couldn't do in last 11 days, with Governor's intervene it has been solved and now the people got relief".
BJP alleged that last night CPI-M attacked BJP Party office and many shops are destroyed by them.
Whereas the IPFT leaders were sitting at New Delhi, unready to end the blockade without Tipraland demand is fulfilled, with Section 144's imposing the strike was ended peacefully.
CPI-M cadres attacked Barjala,Khowai(Office Tilla),Kumarghat,,Manu(Chailangta).
Due to this attack 5 people injured and one person who is School teacher named Babul Majumdar died .
Two party members of BJP admitted into Hospital and Two person were admitted at Kailasahar Hospital.
BJP members who are injured in these attacked there name is Hridoy Chakma and Anadi Chakma.
