AGARTALA, July 19 (TIWN): Congress called 12 hours strike has paralyzed the transports across the state. Since the morning the capital city was paused without transport movement, affecting the daily lives of the common people.

The daily workers were seen as the worst sufferer as due to the strike as they lost their livelihood for a day.

Surprisingly, Congress is the weakest political party now Tripura but due to the ruling CPI-M’s full support the strike the strike was successful that was proven as CPI-M backed CITU drivers stayed out of the transport movement fueled the strike.

However, the purpose of the strike that was against the national highway blockade by IPFT remained unaffected to the actual problem.

Opposition BJP has strongly condemned the strike, whereas CPI-M remained tightlipped to comment anything against the strike.
