AGARTALA, July 16 (TIWN): After 7 days of continuous blockade, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar finally opens his mouth asking the IPFTs to stop the blockade over the National Highway, Railway.
About the Rail Blockade CM said Rail administration should think what they can do as after Baramura, there is blockade.
'Today, Govt Officials held meeting with them and requested them to withdraw the strike, but they said after talking to Home Ministry on Monday they will finalize', said CM.
CM already talked to Rajnath Singh on Sunday and gave Tripura Govt's stand.
'Against the Central Govt I have nothing to say. Let the Govt decide as we have given our stand', CM added.
Asking about surrendered militant Bijoy Kumar Hrangkhawl's allegation 'Why State Govt permitted for the blockade?',
CM said with a surprise smile, 'Does any Govt give permission for uncertain period of time' ?
To IPFT CM said, 'People are suffering due to the blockade. So you should cooperate and withdraw the strike'.
CM met the press at his residence on Sunday afternoon.
