UDAIPUR, July 16 (TIWN): National Congress leader Bhupen Borah along with Tripura Congress Chief Birjit Sinha, MLA Gopal Roy has visited Udaipur on Sunday.
Addressing the media there, Borah said that Congress will give candidates in 60 constituencies.
Asking Birjit Sinha about Congress's Status in Tripura, he mentioned "We have a rush of candidates for the upcoming election. There is no scope to think that Congress has become weak. Our party will move back to its own form".
Sinha further claimed that BJP will be defeated badly as they are over-dreaming and flying on air.
Sinha also said in coming days chit fund, unemployment will be the keys of their protest issues. 'Congress will continue its demand to return the money of the chit fund victims', said Sinha.
About IPFT blockade Congress alleged that BJP is directly helping IPFT in this protest.
Blasting Sudip Barman Sinha said, "Just see what is the condition of BJP just after 2 months".
"You remember when Mamata Banerjee, Mukul Roy came in state, all new leaders had occupied the dais, whereas the original TMC strugglers left in the ground. This will be done with BJP also", said Sinha.]
However, Sinha said that Congress may align with some parties for the election except CPI-M and BJP.
Bhupen Kumar Borah said the alliance matters will be fully considered by the state Congress.
