AGARTALA, July 15 (TIWN): A frequent power cut has disrupted normal lives in Tripura.
Even though Durga Puja works have not been started but power cut has begun in full wave hitting the normal lives in the Capital city.
Tripura is undergoing heavy power crisis situation, led by Power Minister Manik Dey. However, in an attempt to overcome the allegations, although Power Minister urged the people to help in stopping electricity theft, but even street lights also found lighting in the day time and nobody has any concern.
Addressing the last Assemble Dey said, 'Tripura's power production is good, but due to the hooklines used in slum and rural areas, TSECL is undergoing heavy losses.
The suburban and rural areas condition are more pathetic. In maximum places more than 12 hours a constant power cut is being faced by people.
